As each day brings each of us new challenges in the battle against COVID-19, we want to update you on what we, at 7055 Inc, are doing to ensure the safety of our employees, partners and customers:
- Facility-wide cleaning & protection
While most of our employees wear protective gloves, masks and other equipment daily to ensure their own safety, this equipment is now helping to protect you as well. Throughout our production facilities we are now vigorously cleaning work areas several times throughout the day. Our employees clean all tools and equipment with disinfectant spray several times throughout the course of a work day as well.
Because our production is 100% Made in USA, we are able to very effectively ensure that our products are safe and clean throughout the production process and are not made with contaminated components. - Retail events
As you probably already know, yesterday the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued new guidelines recommending that all events with over 50 people be postponed or cancelled for the next 8 weeks. Many state and local governments have instituted even more strict policies, with more sure to come in the near future. We realize that for many of you this means you’ll miss out on your annual opportunity to visit with us, touch new products and learn the stories about the new pieces you love. At this time, however, public safety must be our top priority, so we are looking at alternative ways to meet our customers through virtual events. Keep an eye on your email in the coming days and weeks for opportunities to interact with us, our designers and other artists with video events. - Online Orders
While much of the world is turning to the internet for their daily shopping activities, we also must remember the importance of not spreading illness and disease while shipping packages. Effective today, all shipments going out of our warehouse will be sprayed with disinfectant spray during the packaging process and marked as such. We also recommend that when you receive your shipment, you spray the outside of the package with household disinfectant spray prior to bringing it into your home, as many people will have touched it while in transit. - Resources
